Oklahoma has multiple in-state refineries including the Phillips 66 Ponca City (210,000 barrels per day), HollyFrontier Tulsa, Valero Ardmore, and Wynnewood Refinery facilities, plus extensive pipeline supply from Cushing (the world's largest crude oil storage hub). The state gas tax is around 20 cents per gallon, one of the lowest in the country. Oklahoma City and Tulsa post some of the lowest pump prices in the nation. QuikTrip (Tulsa headquarters), Costco, Sam's Club, and OnCue Express (an Oklahoma chain) lead on value across Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Buc-ee's recently entered Oklahoma at the Terrell location and pulls aggressive low pricing. Murphy USA at Walmart stations is also competitive across smaller cities.
