About gas prices in Oregon
Oregon's state gas tax is around 38 cents per gallon, plus a clean fuels program that adds a few additional cents to support emissions reductions. The state has no in-state refining capacity and pulls supply from BP Cherry Point and HollyFrontier Anacortes refineries in Washington plus barge shipments. Until 2023, Oregon was one of two states (the other being New Jersey) that restricted self-service gasoline statewide.
